Included here are a handful of examples of logos and personal branding projects. These particular samples where chosen to show diversity in style and messaging. Key to the design process is to find a balance between triggering aesthetic associations relevant to the client’s field and going beyond the generic enough to capture and hold interest. Furthermore, given the state and trajectory of the media landscape it has become valuable to consider animation ever closer to the outset of the design process. Provided that principles of brand identity are addressed, there is now more space than ever for expression and messaging made possible by the added dimension of animation and the increasingly distributed nature of the media in general. The adaptability of a brand design can be a key to success, particularly for smaller players in a complex and fragmented market. Addressing these advances is the duty of any self respecting designer working in the digital space today.
